We are thrilled to report that our Toy Swap on April 30 was a huge success! In honor of Earth Day, our students showed great enthusiasm and participation, bringing in their gently used toys to swap with one another.

Spirit Week Highlights
The week of April 7 to 11 was filled with celebration, school spirit, and meaningful milestones across our campus. All-School Spirit Week has brought energy and creativity to each day, with students and staff showing their pride and having fun together.

A particularly special moment took place today as we marked the last official day of classes for many of our Seniors with our Senior Walk.

ES Students Learn About Safety
Our Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grade 2 students had a wonderful experience during a recent visit from our friendly neighborhood Police Officer.
Grade 3 Brings Fables to Life
This past Wednesday and Thursday, our Grade 3 students enjoyed a fantastic Fables workshop with Mr. Olaf Heuser, an artist and theater educator.

Xylophones for Orangutans
On March 31 and April 1, three Grade 5 students held their annual Orangutan-Xylophone Club and taught their classmates “Heart and Soul” on the xylophone.
6th Grade Knights of Service: Recess Buddies and Changemakers
This week, AIS Vienna’s 6th Grade Knights of Service fostered community by mentoring younger students as recess buddies and sharing changemaker ideas, promoting leadership and civic responsibility.
Enhancing Literacy Practices
From March 25 to March 28 we had an Educational Consultant, Molly Ball, from Erin Kent Consulting working with our homeroom teachers.

Austrian National Reading Day - "Vorlesetag"
The ES German department celebrated National Reading Day on March 27 by bringing parents and students together for a joyful storytelling event that fostered a love for reading.
3rd Grade Discovers Ancient Rome in Vienna
On March 21, our Grade 3 students went on an exciting and enriching field trip to the Rome Museum and on a walking tour of the 1st District.
