Sharing the Joy of Math in Grade 2

On January 30, our Grade 2 students hosted a "Celebration of Learning" event for their parents.

The students invited their families to join them in playing math games known as Workplaces. These activities, part of the elementary school-wide math program, Bridges, challenged both students and parents to engage with mathematical concepts, such as using groups of 10 for addition and subtraction, manipulating geometric shapes, and efficiently counting money. Reading math books together was also a big hit!

It is wonderful to see parents and students interacting in the classroom. Our students feel a deep sense of pride in their work and always look forward to sharing their progress with their families!
