Grade 4 Students Engineer Safety Systems

On December 10, our Grade 4 students presented their knowledge and prototypes as geotechnical engineers to their parents. “Hired” by Ski Amadé to support the development of a new holiday village, students were tasked with incorporating their learning from literacy and science to ensure visitor safety.

As part of their studies on natural disasters, students developed solutions addressing landslides and earthquakes. They programmed a working alarm system using SAM Labs and created a fossil display to show the geological development of the mountain.

During the event, families were impressed by the students’ oral presentation skills and the models they built in the Science and Innovation Lab.

We are incredibly proud of our articulate and knowledgeable future engineers!
