Chess has many educational benefits. Children learn to concentrate and be patient, to think before they take decisions, to feel responsible for their actions, to consider the other sides possibilities, and to learn from mistakes. This course is built on the "Step Method", which has been developed in the Netherlands specifically for children. Simple games and chess puzzles prepare the children to not only master the rules but also to see captures, checks and checkmates at once. If you fully master the rules, have played chess occasionally and want to improve, or if you just want to learn the rules of the game.
This course is for beginners and for advanced players and will teach you the most important tactical motives and basic winning strategies in a fun way. For the younger group there is a special booklet "stepping stones" without text and with more pictures. For the older group a "Step Method" booklet is included in the price and there will be the possibility to take part in a competition.

Heroes wanted!
“The foul air stings your nose as you enter the dark cavern chamber. The far side glitters by the flickering light of your torches. You see gold, heaps and heaps of gold, but before you can even say a word the cavern lights up with flame as the dragon sitting atop the heaps of gold lets out a fiery breath.”What do you do?
Let you’re imagination run wild as you explore an epic word of fantasy filled with mystery, magic, and monsters.
Take up the role of a brave fighter, a fearsome barbarian, a wise wizard, a skillfully rouge, a shapeshifting druid, or whatever you can imagine as you join a group of fellow adventures to save the realm from a terrible fate.
