The American International School Vienna's teachers are highly dedicated and respected professionals who are committed to the mission of the school. The students are of their utmost interest. The teachers are responsible, knowledgeable, and incorporate a variety of measures to create a learning environment in which each students' abilities and learning styles are met.
We actively seek qualified teachers from around the world who wish to help us fulfill our school's mission. Recruitment generally begins in October for positions for the following school year but applications can be submitted when the list of vacant positions at all divisions is made available.
The list of vacancies will be updated continually during the recruitment period and throughout the year.
Our current vacancies are advertised here and in professional publications, as appropriate. Please note that due to the volume of interested candidates, AIS Vienna only accepts applications when a position has been posted.

School Stories
From May 14 through 16, four of our Middle School string students participated in the AMIS Middle School Honors Orchestra at the American School of the Hague.
From May 11 to 18, our youngest strings musicians welcomed their families to campus for a special look at their musical progress this school year.
On May 13, our Middle School students took over the Sports Field and Sports Hall for an action-packed Field Day.
On May 8, our Grade 1 students hosted a Celebration of Learning to showcase the wonderful progress they have made in their classrooms.
On May 8, our Grade 5 students welcomed their families into the classroom for a Celebration of Learning.
Huge congratulations to Grade 11 student Olivia Leggett, who won first place in the Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE) competition for international schools!
On May 6, our Middle School students embarked on various field trips with their grade levels, learning beyond the classroom and campus walls.
On May 4, Grade 2 students welcomed their families into the classroom for a Toy Innovation Expo!
Yesterday, as part of our springtime focus on the arts, our Pre-K through Grade 1 students enjoyed a visit from the Bakabu group!
