In the AIS Vienna Elementary School, our greatest hope is that every child feels a sense of belonging. This simple idea is at the heart of everything we do, from our daily lessons to our community gatherings. We believe that the joy we find in teaching creates an atmosphere where children can truly fall in love with learning.
Our focus is on the whole child. We are not just teaching subjects; we are nurturing curiosity and creating positive memories that will shape their futures for years to come. Our goal is simple: for our children to love school and to carry that love of learning with them throughout their lives.
The first thing you'll notice when you visit is the warmth of our community. It’s a place where our talented teachers’ expertise is matched by their genuine care for each student. By building these trusting relationships, we help children feel supported and encouraged to do their best. We celebrate their individual strengths and provide gentle support where they need to grow. We connect learning to their own lives and experiences, ensuring that it is always meaningful and real to them.
Our enrollment in the Elementary School hovers around 300 students PK - Grade 5. This size of our school is widely considered ‘just right’, big enough to offer exciting and varied social and academic opportunities while still being small enough to maintain a strong sense of community where every child is recognized and known. Students at AIS Vienna benefit from outstanding and progressive academic programs, paralleled by rich fine arts, physical education, technology, and German language instruction. Through after school activities, field trips, and collaborations across grade levels we hope to create opportunities that enrich children's lives, igniting a passion for lifelong learning and continued success.
