AISV Math Teams Succeed at ISMTF
On February 14 and 15, four of our senior math teams competed in the ISMTF 2026 Senior Mathematics Competition in Vienna. Despite the chilly weather, the event was a vibrant gathering of 130 individual competitors and 45 teams representing 19 international schools from across Europe and the Middle East.
Our students achieved exceptional results in both the individual and team categories. In the individual competition, an AISV student earned an impressive second-place finish, and two others ranked among the top 20 participants. Our teams were equally successful; one team tied for first place, while a second team secured a position within the top 10.
AISV also excelled during the Sunday Chase, a collaborative event where participants from different schools work together to solve complex problems. One of our students was a member of the team that received an honorable mention as the second-best group of the event.
The senior math teams demonstrated excellent team spirit and proudly represented our school; it is hard to convey with words the extent of their achievements. Congratulations to all of our brilliant mathematicians for their hard work and success!
