International Language Day
On May 30, the AISV United Student Councils organized an International Language Day to celebrate the rich linguistic diversity within our school community.
There were interactive language booths, each focusing on a different language and featuring key facts and simple phrases. Student hosts taught basic vocabulary, greetings, and tongue twisters. Participants received a Language Passport and earned stamps by correctly repeating words as part of the activity.
One component of the project involved a video featuring students from all three divisions, who were invited to share a word or phrase in their native language to describe AISV.
Events like this showcase our student-led initiatives and our diverse student body, which we are so proud of at AISV.
