MS Speech and Debate Excel in Helsinki

From November 13-16, 10 Middle School students participated in the CEESA MS Speech and Debate tournament at the International School of Helsinki. Students competed in five different speech and debate events. The debate topic was “Be It Resolved: Solving International Conflicts Is More Urgent Than Addressing Climate Change.”

AIS Vienna performed exceptionally well! Students took 1st and 2nd place in Debate, 1st and 2nd place in Duet Acting, 2nd place in Impromptu Speaking, and received honorable mentions for reaching the finals in Original Oratory and Oral Interpretation.
