Early Childhood Springtime Learning & Teamwork

Last Friday, April 12, our Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten students had a fantastic time collaborating in our outdoor classroom.

While finishing their beautiful tulip paintings our early childhood students also learned about signs of spring in German! This fun collaboration fostered a sense of teamwork and “peer scaffolding” with the Kindergarten classes supporting their younger Pre-Kindergarten friends.

This is one of the many ways we make purposeful use of our Outdoor Classroom to integrate the indoor and outdoor learning experience.
