Professional Development and Collaboration Afternoon
On Wednesday, November 19, our faculty and staff participated in the second Professional Development and Collaboration Afternoon of the school year. The focus of this afternoon was on vertical alignment, articulation, and student-centered instructional practices.
We were joined by Glen Karlsson, an education and curriculum consultant, who collaborated with our World Language Department throughout the week.
Individual grade levels and departments also met to work together, and several “Teachers Teaching Teachers” sessions were offered. During breaks, faculty and staff enjoyed refreshments from the EspressoMobil, an appreciated treat during a full, but meaningful, afternoon of learning.
These professional development and collaboration opportunities foster lifelong learning among our faculty and staff and strengthen our collective ability to provide the best educational experiences for our students.
We are grateful to Glen and to all faculty members who shared their expertise during this Professional Collaboration Afternoon. Their contributions continue to inspire us to learn and strive for personal growth and excellence together.
