This week, 6th graders took part in EcoChic, a student-led 1-to-1 clothing swap created by two Grade 7 students!
What started as part of a Grade 6 Global Citizenship unit on fast fashion quickly grew into an inspiring Middle School Changemaker Club project. Participating Grade 6 students were able to swap clothing items during advisory this week and learn how their simple actions can make a positive impact on the planet.
It is inspiring seeing our students translate classroom learning into real-world action while actively driving environmental initiatives!
