HS Robotics Competes in International Tournament

On January 30 and 31, the AISV High School Robotics Team participated in the 2025 CEESA High School VEX Robotics Tournament in Tirana, Albania. The event hosted 24 robots from eight schools.

Two teams of students, AISV “Black” and AISV “Green”, competed with robots they have engineered since September. This season’s game, “Push Back,” required robots to manage field zones and score using game pieces called “blocks.”

Team Black advanced to the quarterfinals and was honored with the Think Award. This award recognizes the most “effective and consistent use of coding techniques” and is given to the team with the most impressive autonomous programming.

Their success wasn’t just in driving; the students wrote complex code to control the robot during the 15-second “Autonomous Period” (where the robot drives itself) and to manage a pneumatic system during each match.

We are incredibly proud of how both teams represented AISV and are already looking forward to next season!
