High School Retreats
Our High School students had a great time on their retreats last week, September 4 to 6, while engaging in team building activities, deepening social connections, and enjoying some fun outside of Vienna!
Grade 9
Our Grade 9 students kicked off their High School retreat tradition in Veitsch, where they focused on team-building and getting to know one another better. Their time together included fun group activities, a dinner, and an evening bonfire. Students also enjoyed swimming in an indoor pool and exploring the outdoors on a hike.
Grade 10
In Hochkar, our Grade 10 students explored the hiking trails of Mendlingtal, tested their balance on a high ropes course, and practiced archery. The retreat also featured team-building activities designed to strengthen friendships and group dynamics.
Grade 11
Our Grade 11 students took their retreat to Palfau. Their days were filled with rafting, climbing, and ziplining, while evenings offered time to relax with soccer, bonfires, and social gatherings. The highlight was staying in a 19th-century castle, which gave the retreat a memorable backdrop.
Grade 12
For their final High School retreat, our Seniors traveled to Schlögen, celebrating with a balance of adventure and reflection. They went swimming, hiking, and biking, and took part in a creative drawing activity. A boat ride to Aschach for lunch, followed by a bike ride back to the hotel, made for a scenic and active day. The retreat concluded with class photos and a special formal dinner.
We thank our High School faculty and staff for their work and commitment to making these experiences memorable and meaningful for our students.
Students bonded with their classmates, challenged themselves to try new things, and built new relationships, all while using the Austrian countryside as our extended campus.
