Grade 1 Visits Neighborhood Alpaca Farm

On October 2, our Grade 1 students took a short walk right next door to visit Matthias Himmelshof, an alpaca farm nestled in Vienna's 19th district.

The children loved connecting with our local community as they met, pet, and fed the gentle alpacas and friendly sheep. The adventure continued with roasting delicious bread over an open fire, discovering the fascinating world of bees, and letting off steam in the farm’s outdoor playground.

What a wonderful day for Grade 1! It was an action-packed two hours full of smiles, hands-on learning, and outdoor fun right in our own neighborhood!
