Grade 8 German Explores the World of Literature

On April 17, our Grade 8 German class stepped out of the classroom and into the world of professional literature. 

Their trip began at the Zsolnay Publishing House with a behind-the-scenes look at the industry. The students engaged directly with publisher Mr. Ohrlinger, posing a variety of insightful questions. The day continued with a visit to the Literature Museum in the city center. Following a guided tour, the students put theory into practice, stepping into the shoes of authors during a creative writing workshop.

This trip was the perfect opportunity for our students to use Vienna’s world-class museums as an extended campus for them to explore their own voices as authors.
