ES Students Bring the Circus to Life
On March 12, our Grade 5 Drama students took the stage for a funny and heartwarming production of Circus, a show in 10 parts. These young performers explored clowning and puppetry to learn how to tell stories with their whole bodies, connect with an audience, and embrace the unexpected.
Written and choreographed entirely by the students involved, each act reimagined a favorite picture book within a circus ensemble. From interrupting chickens to solving penguin problems, the show was full of playfulness and joy. This sense of freedom and silliness allows our students to develop the courage and curiosity that are central to our creative community.
A big thanks goes out to the Middle and High School Student Set Crew whose hard work behind the scenes brought the stage to life. Congratulations to all of our performers!
