Grade 5 Scientists Map the Sky

On May 8, our Grade 5 students welcomed their families into the classroom for a Celebration of Learning.

Throughout their recent science unit, Earth, Space, and Stars, the students focused on answering essential questions regarding why the sun is so bright, what patterns are visible in the sky, and how we define the direction of down. To showcase their discoveries, students designed and built original models that helped their guests visualize our unique place in the universe.

The event highlighted the collaborative bond between students and parents through an afternoon of impactful scientific exploration.
