ASA Highlight: Engineering For Kids® Apprentice
This week, we’re excited to highlight one of our After School Activities, Engineering For Kids® Apprentice.
During this fall semester, Engineering For Kids® students are using the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, and improve basic electronics and circuits as electrical engineers! Students are experimenting with Snap Circuits® to discover the capabilities of major electronic components, build their own flashlights, conductor finders, variable resistors, electric magnets, and explore the world of magnetic energy by building their own magnetic levitation vehicle!
To challenge their engineering thinking, students will also use littleBits and BBC micro:bits to construct complex circuits and machines that work with a variety of sensors, effectors, and more! All of this while having FUN!
