ASA Highlight: Engineering For Kids® Apprentice

This week, we’re excited to highlight one of our After School Activities, Engineering For Kids® Apprentice. During this fall semester, Engineering For Kids® students are using the Engineering Design Process to design, build, test, and improve their own creations.

In a recent session, students designed and constructed their own dragster cars before putting them to the test with a dragster launcher. They explored how different design choices, wheel placement, weight, and construction can affect the speed and performance of their vehicles.

Through hands-on challenges like these, students develop problem-solving, creativity, teamwork, and engineering thinking, all while having FUN!
