Grade 6 Student Presents at TEDx Conference
On March 20, Grade 6 student Olivia Lu took the stage at the TEDx Danube International School Vienna Youth conference.
This was Olivia’s second time presenting at the event, following her first appearance in the fifth grade when she spoke about social psychology and expectations. This year, she delivered a speech on the immortal jellyfish (Turritopsis dohrnii), connecting its unique biology to themes of passion, renewal, and creative transformation. Reflecting on the process, Olivia states, “I dedicated approximately four to five months in preparing for this TEDx Talk, including extensive work in developing and rehearsing my presentation.”
The event featured a total of 12 talented speakers. We are so proud of Olivia’s selection and hard work in preparing for her presentation. We cannot wait to see her on the TEDx stage again in the future!
