Professional Development and Collaboration Afternoon

On March 18, faculty and staff across all divisions gathered for a Professional Collaboration Afternoon.

The Elementary School team worked closely with Molly Ball from Erin Kent Consulting, who focused on enhancing literacy through differentiation, interventions, and morphology. Meanwhile, Jenny Killion, also from Erin Kent Consulting, worked with Middle School educators on teaching and assessing discussions for content, concept application, and critical thinking, especially in the age of AI.

Glen Karlsson returned to continue his specialized work with the PK-12 World Language teachers. The High School faculty also dedicated time to IB standardization for Grades 11 and 12. 

It was a focused, productive end to the year’s professional learning schedule. Thank you to the faculty and staff whose efforts made this a meaningful and successful afternoon!
