MS Field Trip Day - May 15

On May 15, our Middle School Students went on various field trips with their grade levels. Students had a fantastic time learning beyond the classroom and campus walls.

Grade 6 students had a great day on their field trip to the Garten Tulln. There they participated in a range of outdoor activities designed to foster a deeper appreciation for the environment. From conducting a pond study to embarking on a biodiversity scavenger hunt, and even enjoying a bit of canoeing, it was a day filled with exploration and discovery.

Grade 7 students took a trip to the Roman History site of Carnuntum to improve their understanding of archaeology and to deepen their understanding of Roman history as they embarked on a guided tour through the Roman settlement.

Some Grade 8 students enjoyed an excursion to the HandsUp! exhibition and Dialogue in the Dark experience. This field trip included experiences connected to their Service Learning Project and focused on accessibility and fostering inclusivity and empathy for people with disabilities. This was an invaluable opportunity to integrate and extend concepts and ideas that our students have been learning about at school.

Other Grade 8 students welcomed the students from the Clara Fey school. After giving the 30 visiting students an amazing welcome committee they engaged them in a variety of creative and athletic activities during the morning.

These are just some of the many ways the city of Vienna makes up our extended campus, with its many educational and cultural offerings.
