IB Theater Students Visit London
From October 7 through 10, the IB Theater class attended the International Schools Theatre Association (ISTA)’s annual TAPS Perspectives event at the Lyric Theatre in London.
Our students joined others from around the world to participate in workshops with professional artists where students staged play texts, explored world theater traditions, engaged with theorists, and collaboratively created original theater. They also saw two incredibly powerful productions from Theatre RE and Linnea Berthelsen, of Stranger Things fame, at Hackney Empire and the Bush Theatre.
To the students in the IB Theater program at AISV, this experience supports not just the coursework, but also our shared humanity through the arts.
