Exploring Material Science at the Technisches Museum
Nine students from our Advanced Research and Design class recently visited the Technisches Museum in Vienna for a guided tour of the new exhibition on materials. This directly connected with the first unit of their course, Material Science. Students saw how silicon crystals look and examined innovative examples, including cloth made from cellulose fibers.
These experiences deepened their understanding of the structure and properties of materials while linking theory to real-world applications. The visit highlights our school’s commitment to real life learning that inspires curiosity and prepares students for future innovation.
Thank you to our Grade 10 student photographer for the excursion pictures!
