Grade 3’s Folktales and Family Breakfast

On March 31, our Grade 3 students hosted a Folktales and Family Breakfast! This event was the culmination of their recent ELA (English Language Arts) unit, Passing Down Wisdom: Hispanic and African American Folktales.

Parents were invited to participate in a potluck breakfast and bring a favorite folktale from their own culture to share. It was a joyful opportunity to experience these stories as they were meant to be told - among family and friends. Thank you to all the families who contributed food and stories to make this event so special!
