A Faculty Publication Highlight

Over the years at AIS Vienna, we have been fortunate to count accomplished musicians, artists, professional scientists, and published authors among our faculty. This culture of expertise is highlighted by the recent publication of Educators as Designers: The Hidden Architecture of Learning by AISV Middle School teacher Jim Gaona Ellis.

Published by Harvard Education Press, Jim draws on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and the latest UDL guidelines to position teachers as creators, innovators, and problem-solvers, empowering them to craft classroom experiences that are not only accessible, but also inspiring, inclusive, and responsive to every student's unique needs.
