A Weekend of Diplomacy at AISV
This past weekend, April 24–25, AIS Vienna hosted the CEESA Model United Nations Conference, a simulation where students act as diplomats to tackle the world’s most complex issues through debate and negotiation.
The experience was truly world-class, kicking off with an unforgettable Day 1 at the actual United Nations (UNO City) in Vienna before moving to our campus for Day 2. Guided by the theme "Rebuilding Bridges, Connecting Voices, and Creating Change," our delegates explored the necessity of repairing international trust, elevating marginalized perspectives, and moving from discussion to meaningful action on topics ranging from biodiversity to digital safety.
Six of our delegates were recognized by their Chairs for their outstanding performances in the following categories: Best Knowledge of the Issues, Most Persuasive Speaker, Most Collaborative Delegate, and Rising Star.
Congratulations to all of our Middle and High School delegates. We are incredibly proud of our students' hard work and diplomatic skills while representing AISV!
