Austrian National Reading Day

Last week, the Elementary School German department celebrated National Reading Day (Österreichischer Vorlesetag), uniting families and students for an hour of literary readings. 

We were thrilled to welcome parent and grandparent volunteers from our Grade 1, 2, and 3 German classes, who shared some of their favorite stories with our young learners. The classrooms came alive with excitement as students got caught up in the stories. The diverse collection of books did more than just entertain; it sparked imaginations and nurtured a genuine passion for reading. 

It was a successful and memorable event for our community. A heartfelt thank you to all the parents & grandparents who helped make this day so special!
