Artemis Games: Combating climate change through the power of play

Thanks to support from the Annual Fund, High School Environmental Science students are trialing five interactive “games" to teach students the science behind climate change in an incredibly engaging fashion. The games were developed by Dr. Inez Harker-Schuch, founder of Artemis Games, and are being used in the context of related lessons as a lab experience. They are a great tool to support learning as it is challenging to find lab work that allows us to measure global climate change.

If the program proves successful in the current trial period, these games will be added to full units on sustainability and climate change. The Annual Fund enables us to explore these opportunities before they are added to the annual budget.
