My dear alumni.

As we celebrate our 60th year, The American International School · Vienna (AIS) is excited to announce the launch of our Annual Fund. The Annual Fund is the school’s primary fundraiser and an ongoing effort that helps our school operate at its best.

At AIS, we focus on providing students with the best education in the best environment possible. No matter where they want to excel, we strive to make sure all our students have the tools and resources they need to prepare them for tomorrow's workforce.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the generous support from our community. With past donations we have been able to renovate and add extensions to our campus (i.e. the Theater), remodel our classrooms (i.e. the Science Labs), purchase up-to-date technology (i.e. the Netbooks), as well as offer an impeccable curriculum, flowing communication and a "feel good atmosphere" through the volunteer work from our alumni, parents, students, faculty and staff.

This year the Annual Fund will focus on enhancing student learning under three broad categories:

A – ARTS, ATHLETICS and ACTIVITIES: increase the opportunities, revamp the equipment, and materials for all students in these fields.
I – INFRASTRUCTURE: accelerate the transformation of core learning spaces across AIS while still staying environmentally friendly (GO GREEN!).
S – STEM: creating innovative spaces for more dynamic ways to learn science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

To continue offering our students a top-notch education, we would like you to consider donating to our Annual Fund. Be part of the transformative work of AIS by making a gift today!

Instructions on how to give Euros or US Dollars can be found on the giving page of our website (

You have questions about the Annual Fund? Would like to talk to us about future projects? Have ideas how the alumni community can give back to AIS in other ways? Please contact our Development Director, Mr. Joseph Eisen ( or me, Manager of Alumni Affairs (

Be assured that we appreciate all your support and look forward to your continued involvement with the AIS family.
