The Middle School Student Council recognized International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination this week by preparing a visual display in front of the Cafeteria area to raise awareness about discrimination of all types, not necessarily just racial discrimination. In order to raise more awareness about the importance of this week, advisory teachers also supported students to trace their hands on construction paper and write anti-racist words, phrases, or quotes inside them using their creativity and imagination. After the paper hands are collected from all students this week, they will be used to create an artistic display for the Middle School.
