International Human Rights Day

On Monday, December 13, the MS Student Council celebrated International Human Rights Day. All students got free hot chocolate with the UN human rights labels. The MS Student Council also gave out other treats, like cookies or cakes, which were donated by MS parents.

MS students had a chance to write to one of the three teenagers who had their human rights violated and the Amnesty organization is trying to help them. The three teenagers in Thailand, Belarus and Mexico are Wendy, Makita or Rung.

Over 80 middle school students wrote letters or postcards to one of these three young people. We hope that we contributed to their freedom in the future!
