The American International School · Vienna's teachers are highly dedicated and respected professionals who are committed to the mission of the school. The students are of their utmost interest. The teachers are responsible, knowledgeable, and incorporate a variety of measures to create a learning environment in which each students' abilities and learning styles are met.

We actively seek qualified teachers from around the world who wish to help us fulfill our school's mission. Recruitment generally begins in December for positions for the following school year but applications can be submitted when the list of vacant positions at all divisions is made available.

The list of vacancies will be updated continually during the recruitment period and throughout the year.

Teacher Qualifications

Applicants for teaching positions at AIS should possess strong verbal and writing skills in English. Additionally, applicants should hold a BA or higher degree from an accredited college or university. A qualified Teaching Certificate will be expected. Two years, or more, of teaching experience is desirable.
